Holiday and Joanne travelled from Malaysia to Mossdale to share learnings with the Mossdale community, invited by the village hall Chair, Paul Clarke.

Joanna wrote the words below summarising their visit.
Paul introduced us to his incredible local community, people who live simply and generously.
They welcomed us like old friends, offering tea, stories, and warm dinners in their cozy homes. We were humbled and grateful.
One of the most memorable moments of our entire trip was a community sharing session at the Mossdale Community Hall, where Holiday presented the story of Noble Gateway.
Though nervous (and maybe feeling the pressure of sharing across cultures), Holiday poured her heart out-and the response was overwhelming.
The room was packed, the energy was electric, and Paul himself said:
“I’ve never seen this many people in the hall before.”
We left Mossdale changed. Grateful for every conversation, every bite of foraged food, every lesson taught by nature and neighbour alike. This wasn’t just a visit, it was a reminder of what’s possible when we live simply, courageously, and connected to the Earth and each other.
Thank you, Mossdale. Thank you, Paul. And thank you to all the beautiful souls who made us feel like we belonged. We carry your kindness and lessons with us, always.
