2. SCIO Application Update

• Progress on Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation status – still waiting for news…
• Action – Paul C to contact early June (4 months since application submitted)

3. Funding Update and Options

• Current financial position £8100

• Grant opportunities and applications 
  • Climate Fund bid was unsuccessful this time
• Dalry Fund – Discussion on possible things we could apply for including 
  • Community honesty shop housed in the hall 
  • Proposal for community food sharing facility
  • Weigh and save  – suma resources 
• Location, design, and food safety considerations
  • Health and safety needs arising from food stuffs which are perishable
• Operating model and volunteer management
  • to be discussed further at next meeting

Action – PC to pursue and submit bid by June week 1

• Other possible bidding opportunities people encouraged to find third sector funds
  • Look at resilience funding and get things for a resilience pack in the hall Blankets/ Torches/Batteries etc – 
  • Possible Woodburner  for the hall to operate if the power goes out

4. Painting Plan and Hall Clean-Up

• Areas requiring painting/decoration

• 26 June Friday evening 
  • Complete the wall painting 
  • General maintenance and polishing floor
• Need an electrician to check the water heater switch   – Jim – light switch and the lamp switch check and repair / buy a new one

5. Summer BBQ Planning

• Proposed date Friday 14 August

• Next meeting plan event

• Quiz night  – check with Jo about a date in October 
  • Paul S to follow up and send in a date for October 
• Disco night 20th November 
  • Jane to follow up and discuss at next meeting

10. Any Other Business (AOB)

Pop up cafe this weekend Saturday 23 May 10-2pm for Spring Fling visitors coffee and tea – Action: Carmina

Dave suggested possibility to set up a meshtastic system
